PlayStation Home Beta Trial

Could the new community-focused “PlayStation Home” service that Sony announced this week at GDC be entering the Beta stage soon?
According to the PlayStation Home Beta site, it will be:
Welcome to Homeâ„¢ Beta.
Home™ is a real-time 3D, networked community that serves as a meeting place for PLAYSTATION®3 PS3™ users from around the world, where they can interact, communicate, join online games, shop, share content and even build their own personal spaces. Home™ will be available as a free download from the PLAYSTATION®Store and will launch directly from the PS3™ systems Home Menu.
Keep checking back on this site to register an interest in taking part in an exclusive closed Beta Trial of Homeâ„¢
I don’t even own a PS3, and i’m highly intrigued about this service. Although it seems like Second Life for consoles, the possibilities it presents are pretty awesome when you factor in the integration with the console itself.
The biggest hurdle right now is the price of entry…
If you own a PS3 and are even remotely interested in this program, I highly suggest keeping an eye on the Home Beta Trial Site.
