Def Jam: Icon – Your Questions Answered

Readers of the site will remember “Def Jam: Icon – YOU Ask The Questions” by the nature of it. It asked questions of you – the readers – about Def Jam: Icon.

Consider those questions answered…
Here’s the gimme answer. Def Jam: Icon is being released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Now into the good stuff.

By far, the most asked question was about the artists and entertainers involved in Def Jam: Icon, so here’s a complete list of the artists and entertainers involved:

  • Anthony Anderson
  • Jim Jones
  • Method Man
  • Sticky Fingaz
  • Big Boi
  • Kano
  • Mike Jones

The next most asked question was about the track listing, so here’s that list as well:

  • “Kryptonite” – Big Boi (i.e., Purple Ribbon All-Stars feat. Big Boi)
  • “Tell Me When To Go” – E-40
  • “Go Hard or Go Home” – E-40

  • “One Blood” – The Game
  • “Scream on ‘Em” – The Game
  • “I Do This” – Young Jeezy
  • “Soul Survivor” – Young Jeezy
  • “It’s Going Down ” – Young Joc

After that, there were a lot of questions about the length of the single player campaign, dubbed “Build-A-Label”. Well, i’ve been notified that the campaign can be played in 12-15 hours using your custom character made with the Create-A-Character feature (which happened to be the next most asked question). As far as arenas go, there could be as many as eight.

Information regarding possible Xbox Live Marketplace or PlayStation Store downloads is scarce, but i’d bet bottom dollar that they’re at least looking into it.

I hope that was enough depth for you! Have a question that I didn’t cover here? Ask away…
