Warhawk download only

Incognito Entertainment has confirmed that PlayStation 3 title Warhawk will be sold only as a downloadable title via the PlayStation Network.

Incognito’s Dylan Jobe indicated that the single player for the game had been taken out in favor of an entirely online game supporting up to 32 players at a time.

Jobe also said this, “The single player just really wasn’t up to par and we owe it to the players to not force them to buy something that’s not good enough. They deserve better”.

Incognito will be discussing new maps, features and weapons at a later date.

I think this is good if the developers feel that the game isn’t good enough for single player. This should also keep cost down too but I hope that at least there is some kind of practice mode so you can at least get the hang of it. This should also help Sony’s online presence too, more online games are needed.
