Wii breaks January sales record

Nintendo Wii is pretty hot right now. The Wii has become the best-selling video game system of any kind in January in the United States, and the fastest-selling new-generation home system.

According to the independent NPD Group, the Wii sold through 435,503 systems to customers in its January reporting period. By comparison, that’s 70 percent higher than any other new video game system in its first January of availability during the last 10 years.

Seeing that you can barely find a Wii in stores right now I’m sure these figures are true. I still have my doubts about the system in the long run but for right now Nintendo should be proud of how good the Wii has sold and it doesn’t look like its slowing down anytime soon.

  5. Hello,I am a professional pianist and I’ve came up with a silly rule that allows me to take a 10 min break every 1 hour of training. So, each break I have to do some thing completely different, so usually I go to Yahoo and look for the suggested last hour web site. It is enjoyable to do something different and to find out about new things each and every day. By the way, today I am practicing. Mozart. Your web site is good, I wish I could stay for a longer time, but I have to get back to play… The next time I’ll come to visit again.
