Halo 3 Beta included with Initial Crackdown Shipment
If you’re like a lot of people interested in grabbing Crackdown for the Halo 3 MP Beta access, you’re probably trying to figure out how that whole thing works.
Well, Chris Paladino of Gamerscore Blog has explained the situation in depth.
The initial shipment of Crackdown at retail will include access to the Halo 3 beta. The “initial shipment” is pretty huge, so there will be enough to go around.
For those Halo 3 fans who are STILL losing sleep over this, you can guarantee entrance into the Halo 3 Beta by purchasing a copy of Crackdown when it launches Feb. 20th.
You heard it right – that means the initial copies at all retail stores will have the access keys required to get in on the Halo 3 Multi-Player Beta. Also, since the Crackdown demo has hit Xbox Live Marketplace, you should be more than convinced that you’re not just buying into the Halo 3 Beta and getting Crackdown as an extra.
In fact, after playing the demo, I’m more sold on it anyways – the H3 Beta is just a bonus on top of what seems to be a combination of GTA, Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, and an RPG. In other terms, I think it’s pretty badass…
Thanks for clearing that up, Chris! If you want to thank him yourself, have a visit to Gamerscore Blog via the story link.
