Wii Laptop – for Wii'ing on the go!
Ben Heckendorn is a fairly busy guy. Just two months after the Wii hit the market here in the US, he’s already modded it – into a laptop.
Here are the specs of his latest creation:
- 16:9 widescreen LCD, 7-inch diagonal.
- Stereo sound
- Gamecube controller port
- Built-in short range Sensor Bar
- Ports for using original Sensor Bar and A/V output jacks (for use on external display)
- Built-in power supply and compartment for power cord
- Dimensions: 8.5 x 7.7 x 2-inches
That’s awesome, but the chances of it being worthwhile on many games are small considering the screen size. Even still, the hack seems more focused on modding the system to be more portable (as if that was needed), rather than the bad kind. Any way it goes, Ben Heckendorn is hands-down one of the best modders around.
