Half-Life 2 for consoles renamed to Half-Life 2: Orange

If you’re looking forward to the Half-Life 2 pack that Valve is releasing for the Xbox 360 and PS3, you can rest easy that it won’t be the regular old Half-Life 2 you might expect it to be…

It’s being re-dubbed Half-Life 2: Orange.

The re-naming probably comes from it being both a mash-up of Half-Life 2 merch, but also to differentiate the console versions from the PC version.

In case you’ve forgotten, Half-Life 2: Orange will ship with Half-Life 2, HL2: Episodes 1&2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. That makes it the Xbox 360 or PS3 game that’s guaranteed to be worth your money, especially at the $60 price point.

This one’s going to be a mandatory purchase – mark my words!
