Xbox 360 gets a longer warranty
Microsoft is extending its warranty on the Xbox 360 video game console to one year from its previous 90 days. This applies to future and present owners. Sony and Nintendo both have one year warranty’s on their console so its a wise move by Microsoft to up it to a year. This fall Microsoft acknowledge a small number of consoles that were damaged by a glitch from Xbox’s online update. Microsoft says this new warranty was not in response to this but you never know since one customers sued over this incident. Customers who already paid repair bills on Xbox consoles they’ve owned for less than a year will get an automatic refund.
