No Free VC Titles for Wii On Christmas

Regardless of all the rumors going around, Nintendo’s shrugging off the idea of free Virtual Console games for Christmas – with a amall treasure trove of classic games…

  • Super Mario Bros. (NES) 500 points
  • Street Fighter II: The World Warrior (SNES) 800 points
  • Super Castlevania IV (SNES) 800 points
  • Toe Jam & Earl (Genesis) 800 points
  • R-Type (TurboGrafx16) 600 points

I don’t know if i’m the only person to feel this way, but once i’ve bought/beat a game, I can’t really play it again unless there’s multiple endings. As for games that I haven’t played since I was a kid, it’s not the easiest thing to pay $5 – $8 to play them again…

Then again, the nostalgic feel may be a bit too hard to fight if either WWF WrestleMania 2000, WWF No Mercy, or another one of the awesome AKI wrestling games were to be placed onto the marketplace!

What do you think? Any games that you would buy without delay if introduced to the Virtual Console?
