Gears of War hits 2 million

Microsoft has announced that Gears of War has sold one million units in the U.S. and two million worldwide since its release. No other Xbox game has ever sold this well and the proof is that Halo 2 which reigned supreme over Xbox Live is not played as much since Gears of War is out making it the most played game over the network. I have to admit that Gears is addictive and that the chainsaw is a man’s best friend.

Since Gears has been out, it also has been reported that seven million achievements has been unlocked since the game has been released. Epic made one hell of game and since they plan on releasing for content for this game Gears is going to keep selling and dominate Xbox Live for a long time.
