Age of Conan MMO to hit Xbox 360

If you’ve been looking forward to some barbarian action on your Xbox 360, look no further. Age of Conan has been confirmed for the Xbox 360.

This is a groundbreaking leap forward for Funcom. The fact that we now get the chance to develop ‘Age of Conan’ for the Xbox 360 means access to a potentially whole new and large MMO market,” said Trond Arne Aas, CEO of Funcom.

It’s good to see an MMO other than Phantasy Star and Final Fantasy XI being talked about for the 360. If they’re going to be taken serious on the console, more of them need to be pushed out the gate.

On another note, when’s the first MMO that’s discounted for Xbox Live Gold members? $50 a year isn’t much, but it goes a long way to keep people from wanting to spend more money on a single game…
