Want Some WiiApps?

Developers all around the internet are finding new ways to use the WiiMote with their PCs and Macs. Here’s a quick list of them.

If you find new WiiApps that aren’t listed here, add them to the comments area and i’ll update the list accordingly.

DarWiinRemote (OSX) – This app controls the mouse cursor via the WiiMote’s motion to control the mouse pointer.

WiiSaber (OSX) – Ever want to be a Jedi? Yes? Good – because this app turns your WiiMote’s movement into lightsaber sounds. Excuse me while I relive my fantasies of being Mace Windu, the only Jedi with a wallet that says “Bad Mutha…”

WiinRemote (Win) – Turns your WiiMote into a mouse under Windows.

WiiMotulator (Linux) – Turns your WiiMote into a mouse under Linux.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I can’t wait to see the video of WiiMotulator using a WiiMote as it’s mouse cursor under Linux on a PlayStation 3…
