I have no idea how he did it, but a consumer in Japan named “Eiji” has figured out a way to get his hands on 100 PS3s. That includes 20GB and 60GB versions. What does he plan to do with over $60k in PlayStation 3s? He plans on reselling them.

Apparently, he’s selling all 100 consoles on his own… Even if he sells all of the consoles at $1,000, he’ll make $100k - that’s a minimum of $40k in earnings, but there’s no way possible he could’ve done this alone. When you have a launch where people lined outside for days on end, one guy getting his hands on that many consoles just isn’t possible without a staff of people.

Smart guy. It was only a matter of time until selling consoles at launch would become an organized business for entrepreneurs to take advantage of. Looks like Eiji is just the first individual to take advantage of gamers, because companies have been doing it for years.
