Want a Japanese PS3? $1,200 Please
Hot DAMN, those PS3s are expensive! Stores in Japan are reportedly selling their hard-to-obtain consoles at completely outrageous prices. Some are even selling their wares at 144,900 yen – which roughly converts to $1,232.77.
Guess I won’t be importing a PS3 anytime soon.
In the picture above, the used 60GB version is marked at 144,900 yen $1,237, and the 20GB one is at 94,290 yen $805. High store prices are popping up on Japanese blogs like Akiba Blog.
Talk about horrible sales practices! If they sell PS3s at that price, i’ll definitely be lined up somewhere to take part in the PS3 eBay-ification process – who wouldn’t want to double their investment? I could use $600!
