Capcom Lovers Unite: Titles Likely to be Multi-Platform

I don’t know about any of you, but i’ve loved Capcom games for years now. The only thing holding me back from buying the more recent titles has been lack of owning a PS2. Well, according to Capcom’s Annual Report to Shareholders, that problem will be long gone if they have anything to do with it:
In order to curtail development costs, we intend to implement a multi-platform strategy, marketing a single title for a number of different types of game consoles, thereby expanding sales and optimizing our profits. Furthermore, we expect to compensate for rising development costs incurred in the transition to next-generation consoles by revising our development process and cost management structure, which we have done a number of times in the past. In addition, by creating a new development engine that can be commonly used by all next-generation consoles, we are confident we can further improve the efficiency of our development.
Sounds like heaven to me! No longer am I forced to buy another console to play future releases! That means Devil May Cry 4 will probably hit the Xbox 360 and Dead Rising is PS3 bound, but that just spreads the love - and we all could use a little love.
