Xbox Ambassadors – Bringing Live to the Forefront

Unless you hang out at the forums on, you might not know who they are, but they’re here. The short rundown is as follows:

What is an Xbox Ambassador?

Xbox Ambassadors are community members who have been around the block and are willing to show the new guys around. An Xbox Ambassador puts ’having a good experience with Xbox Live’ at the top of their ‘to-do’ list and they share/introduce those experiences to other members of Xbox Live.

Having never heard of the program until today, I was a little shocked as well. Apparently, the team’s goal is to make Xbox Live a fun place to hang out – while showing them the ropes as well. I don’t know about you, but that sounds pretty awesome to me.

To give you more information, there’s even a page on that gives you the GamerTags of each Xbox Ambassador based on country, language, and Gamer Zone.

Why the sudden interest in Xbox Ambassadors, you ask? That’s because my good friend Daylon, a.k.a. DeaconBlade 360, from Unscripted 360 is – and has been – an Xbox Ambassador and recently posted loads of information on the program as a way to inform more gamers of it. Want to know even more about the Xbox Ambassador program? Follow the link below. Daylon’s one of the more laid back and intelligent people i’ve met so far when it comes to games, so to see him as an Ambassador? That lets me know that the program is already off to a good start!
