Activision Games To Arrive On Steam

It seems Activision and Steam have come to an agreement that four of Activision’s premiere titles will arrive on the download service started by Valve. Call of Duty, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty: United Offensive, and Gun should be making their way to Steam. This is shortly after the announcement that Psychonauts, the critically acclaimed yet oddly sub-par selling title from the mind of Tim Schafer, is currently available for download for $19.99.Personally, I like the idea of downloading games - especially when they can stream to your hard drive weeks before release, similar to what they’ve done with previous releases. The only problem comes if Valve ever goes out of business. What happens to the games you’ve paid a premium for if they’re only on your hard drive?
Hopefully we won’t have to see any of that madness. If you have the service, feel free to download Psychonauts - I hear it’s pretty good.
