I am a big superman fan... I was just bored and thought i'd leave a bulletin or whatever it is. I would just like to let everybody know that superman returns sucks for the PS2... great for the xbox 360 though =)

If you don't want to read the whole thing, here's the final paragraph:

Superman Returns: The Videogame is the best Superman game i’ve played to date, of that there’s no doubt. I’m also sure that just about anyone who plays this game for any period of time will find something they like about it, but I honestly can’t recommend it for purchase to anyone outside of die-hard Superman fans. If you’re not a Superman fan, though, I’d suggest at least a rent.

I bought the superman returns game for the ps2, and let me tell you, IT SUCKS....... for the PS2 anyway. But now. I got a xbox 360 for christmas, the really great graphics and all the high ways and the extra areas, helped the gameplay. In the PS2 version, supermans cape looked like a sheet of damp cardboard, and the cars did too. In the xbox 360 version, The cape actually moves! and second, you know all the areas in metropolis? there were no highways connected from the industrial areas to the entire metropolis city, I was wondering how in the world are people going to trave?! The PS2 version just didn't make since... thats why it was so messed up and boring. And everybody that said that the game went by too fast, YOU ARE ALL RIGHT! The game goes way to fast! But it is really fun while it lasts, and you can start a new game anyway. I would just like to say, the graphics for this game are amazing for the xbox 360. And if your ever feeling like just flying around in a really big city, maybe destroying some vehicles, having an adventure..................... THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU!

First, there will be a full review within the next couple days.

Second, everyone that played it in early October - IGN included - had good things to say. I haven't seen any hands-on previews from that timeframe that had anything negative to say. If you want, you can even check out IGN's review that was of the same build that we got to play:

Once again, they had nothing bad to say. Reading their last paragraph even states: "EA has taken its time to get this thing right, which is the smartest move, and gamers are going to be pleased with the results. And that's what matters most, right?" Where is there negative in that?

On the same note, hands-on previews and playing the game in your own console are two very different situations.

I'd like to go into it further, since i've completed the game, but i'd rather save that for my review. You won't have to look very far to find it, as it'll be the very first thing you see when you get here.

Strangely enough a lot of people are calling this game, boring, monotonous and dull, due to the lack of enemies in the city that you face and the shortness of the game.

My only question is: D'Juan, you played the game on community day for 3hours, how did you not pick up on these same things that a lot of people are crying about now? Why is IGN and these places giving it a 5.5? How could you miss the mistakes in this game?

Also I would like to know, are you going to also do a review on the complete game?

Please understand I am not trying to attack you, just don't understand.

I myself will be playing the game next week wednesday but untill then I just don't get how all of you guys at the community day didnt pick up on the now so BOLDLY stated flaws of the game? At the time you all seemed to enjoy it and gave such positive feedback, which now seems to be completely the opossite, did the game change that much, that quickly? I mean, on community day you guys played for 3hours yet now they say you can finish the whole game in 2hours? I don't get it D'Juan, please reply?

This game was fun played and tried the demo i was hoping they wont mess it up like the batman game but they got it right, i played other superman games and this game was far better then the others, if your not a superman fan you wont like it, but if you are then you'll like it. there are some that they need improvements (lifting up a heavier things like that oil tank boat man!!!) had fun playing catch with the things i carry like the burger lmao and billboards. but anyways hope it is succesful so they can make another game like this. FUN game im picking up to buy it but 60 bucks i would buy it for 40 bucks. (Every superhero games should be 40 bucks the other superhero games that sux 10 bucks lol)

I've been waiting for this game ever since I first heard about it. After having been frustrated by the original Superman game on Xbox, this one sounds like it's going to do things right. Great article!

I am most probably the most excited individual on the planet over this game! I can't wait! I think it's going to be one of the best games I will play for a long time, I AM BUYING AN XBOX360 JUST FOR THE PURPOSE OF PLAYING THIS GREAT LONG AWAITED GAME! This Game is going to be Hot compared to all the games that Xbox 360 has made so far!

I bought and was scarred by Superman 64. Haven't bought a Superman game since. I might check this one out next spring when I gots a 360.

I hate superman, but ill demo this game some time. Never liked him at all...
