Phantasy Star Open Beta DELAYED

Days after announcing that the Open Beta for the anticipated Xbox 360 version of Phantasy Star OnlinePhantasy Star Online reviewsPhantasy Star Online reviews would begin on October 11th, it’s been announced that it’s been delayed until further notice. The site states the following:

We apologize, but the BETA release dates have changed. The release date will no longer be Oct 11th, but should see release very soon after.   • This PSO game is so friggin' awesome (way back in Dreamcast and XBOX) and I hope this time no more monthly fees!! Live long the PSO!
  • I'll be getting the open beta merely just to see what's going on with it. As much as I want to buy and play this game, i'm not sure if it's worth $10/month, especially when I already subscribe to Live on a yearly basis.

    If they're going to charge a premium for this game, I need to see premium content to follow. Simple as that.
  • Ya know ive never really been into paying for a game after i bought it and paid for live. But I wonder what could be wrong with a beta? donno my friend will dl once its out to see if its worth paying monthly once its out
